Helen Slater will be appearing at Krypton Comics in Omaha, Nebraska on May 7th for Free Comic Book Day:

Omaha, NE 68144Krypton Comics is proud to announce an in-store appearance by Helen Slater, the actress who portrayed ‘Supergirl’ in the 1984 film of the same name. Ms. Slater will appear at Krypton on Saturday, May 7th, as guest of honor for Free Comic Book Day. Free Comic Book Day is the comic industry’s yearly event to promote literacy and celebrate the art form, in which complimentary comic books are provided for all who walk through the door.
Ms. Slater will appear to greet her fans and sign autographs on Saturday, May 7th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Krypton Comics is Omaha’s largest comic book store, founded in 1993 by Dean & Rashelle Phillips. Ms. Slater will be signing autographs and greeting people all day Saturday! There will be two entrances to Krypton on Saturday; we will have an entrance for the line for HELEN SLATER and a separate entrance (our regular one) for free comics or if you just want to shop! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT IN HELEN SLATER’S LINE TO GET FREE COMICS!
Ms. Slater’s autograph will cost $25 each. Feel free to bring in your own items to have signed for the same price.
